Official AIPL Rules & Regulations

All-In Poker was created to provide free entertainment for Texas Hold'em enthusiasts, seasoned players and beginners. While providing an atmosphere that is fun and exciting, rules must still be established to maintain structure and the integrity of the game.

General League Rules:

1.   Players must be at least 21 years of age to play.
2.   Players must register before each round and be present to earn points for the round. Players that leave
during a round for longer than 10 minutes will be removed from the game with their chips being divided
evenly among the players at the table and points forfeited.  Exceptions can be made for an announced
absence at the discretion of the tournament director.
3.   No purchase is required to play.  No cover charge may be applied to patrons.  NO FORM OF CURRENCY
is allowed on the table, as prohibited by state law.  NO SIDE games or SIDE WAGERS allowed,
      PERIOD!!!!
4.   Players caught cheating will be disqualified from play, and from future events.
5.   Any disputes will be settled by the tournament director and are final.
6.   Points are awarded for each round and for the top 9 finishers of each round.  You must be present within
the first round of blinds to qualify for points.  If you join the game during the second round of blinds,
playing points are not award for the round, or final table points.  Once the third level of blinds starts, the
game is locked, and no further entries are allowed.  Players on the waiting list due to tournament
are not penalized for being late and will receive points.
7.   Please announce to the tournament director when you are knocked out of the game for tracking
      purposes. (IMPORTANT)
8.   Seats are randomly selected for each game and table consolidation is also facilitated by computer
      software.
9.   All prizes are subject to change based on the number of locations and events played during each season.
10. All rules are subject to change.

General League Rules:

1.   Players shall rotate dealership duties.  The first dealer position is determined by drawing for the high
card with all cards face down on the table.  In the event that two or more players draw the same valued
card, those players will redraw until a high card winner is established.  The aces of spades, also known
as the "case ace," is the highest valued card.  ***NOTE*** At the final table, ALL PLAYERS MUST BE
SEATED BEFORE CARDS ARE DRAWN FOR THE DEALER POSITION.
2.   All cards and chips must remain on or above the table at all times.  Players may not reach for muck
cards during a hand.  This can influence the play of others still in the hand.
3.   Chips will be colored up and removed from play when no longer needed in the blinds.  Any odd chips
      will be rounded up.
4.   The burn cards and muck pile MUST be kept separate until the hand is completed.
5.   At showdown, you must show BOTH of your hole cards to win the pot.
6.   The first minimum bet is always the size of the Big Blind.  Raises and re-raises must at least double the
      value of the last bet.
7.   Players that are "all in" must show their cards IF no other betting action can occur between other players
      in the hand.
8.   Players may not straddle or go all in before it is their turn to act.
9.   Please act within a timely manner.  Any player may call for "time" once a reasonable amount of time has
passed.  The dealer will then give 30 seconds to act with a 10-second countdown. If a player has not
acted within the allotted time, the player's hand will be considered dead and cards mucked.
10. All verbal action is binding.  Always verbally announce your action to other players.  No string betting is
     allowed.
11. All players are expected to use good poker etiquette.  Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Abusive
or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the game and/or the league.  Excessive cell phone use
and text messaging that delays the game will not be allowed at the table.  Please step away from the
table to make calls and carry on exhausting text conversations.
12. The Tournament Director may impose a 10 minute penalty on any player for improper conduct, eitquette,
or failure to follow the rules.
